The Fiqh Council of North America, has announced the beginning of Ramadan for the year 1443 AH, to be Saturday April 2, 2022, inshaAllah.
MCCGP will host daily and weekend Iftars at the Masjid.
All Iftars are sponsored through the generosity of community members like you.
Sponsorship is open for various days. Full sponsorship for Monday through Thursday is $1,400; half is $700. Full sponsorship for Friday & Sunday is $1,800; half is $900. You can donate as much as you can for any day of your choice.

MCCGP will host its annual Ramadan Fundraiser Saturday April 2, 2022 (Ramadan 1, 1443). It is through your generous givings and loving support that the center is able to sustain itself and provide year-round activities and services. We look forward for your participation in fullest on that day and throughout Ramadan. As Allah (swt), the exalted, said in Al-Quran, chapter 2, Ayah 261: "The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed (of grain) which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies (His rewards) for whom He wills. And Allah is all-encompassing and knowing."
Here is a list of programs and key dates for Ramadan:
Daily Taraweeh Prayers with Imam Shamsan AlJabi
Imam Shamsan will lead daily Taraweeh Prayers after Isha. Taraweeh Prayers will be 20 Raka’at with a short break after the 8th Raka. The Khatmul-Qur’an will be on the night of 29th (Friday April 29) insha’Allah
Tahaj’jud Prayers – Every Fri & Sat Night + Last 10 nights of Ramadan
An extra Khatmul-Qur’an will be made during these prayers. The prayers will start hour and a half before Suhoor
Before ‘Isha Daily Readings of Ibn ‘Ata’illah’s al-Hikam (The Book of Wisdoms)
By Imam Abdul Aziz Suraqah: 25 minutes before Isha
Join us before the Isha prayer each night during Ramadan as we cover Ibn'Ata'illah's classical work of spiritual wisdom, la-Hikam, which conveys with beauty and brevity, the essence of our relationship with Allah.
This program will also be livestreamed on our YouTube channel.
Mid-Taraweeh Reflections
A short reflection during the break in Taraweeh covering the major themes from each Juz'/Para read nightly.
Post-Fajr Reflections
Every day after Fajr, Imam Abdul Aziz will read from Imam 'Izz b. 'Abd al-Salam's Maqasid al-Sawm (The Objectives of Fasting)
Quran Competition
Ages 6 - 9 yrs: Al-Kafiron, Al-Ghashia, Al-Buroj, Aba'sa
Ages 10 - 14 yrs: Al-Insan, Al-Mudathir, Al-Mulk
Ages 15 - 17 yrs: Al-Hujurat, Al-Najm, Ad-Dukhan
Ages 18 and above: Yusuf
Open for all ages: Sura An-Noor

Adhan Competition - Sunday April 24, 2022 after Taraweeh
Open for all ages. No registration needed. Focus on Makharij (proper pronunciation) and delivery of Adhan.
