What are school timings?
The school starts at 11:00 AM with an assembly in the social area. The first class starts immediately following the assembly (11:15 AM). The recess and lunch break will follow at 12:15 pm. The second class will commence at 12:45 PM and will continue until 1:45 PM. The Zhur prayer will be at 1:50 PM when daylight saving time is in effect and at 12:50 PM, immediately following recess, when standard time is in effect. Please note that Zhur prayer is part of the school curriculum and schedule. Therefore, we request that parents make every effort to have Zhur prayed in congregation before leaving.
Why arriving on time is so important?
Yes. Although it goes without saying, but we cannot over-emphasize the importance of starting school on time. The school starts with an assembly of all students and teachers in the social hall. We expect all students to be present at this time. This helps establish good scheduling practice, gives teacher/students enough face-time, and facilitates timely lunch and prayer breaks. Please be cognizant of this and make every effort to be on time.
Where will I find information about school closings?
Scheduled school closings are listed on the school calendar. For emergency school closings (for example due to inclement weather), the information will be posted on the home page of this website and will be relayed to all parents via email and text by 9:00 AM that morning. Please make sure to check either of these sources before you leave for school.
What should I do if I have further questions?
Please write to principal@mccgp.org with your specific questions. Also explore the homepage of the school for important links to useful information. You can use a fill-able form to Contact us as well.
