Quran classes on Weekdays...
Daily Quran reading classes are conducted under the guidance of Imam Abdol Rahman for kids ages 5 and up. Kids who are beginning to read Quran, irrespective of the age typically start with "Quaida Noorani" and work their way up to reading from the actual "Mushaf". Kids who have attained a certain level of proficiency in the recitation are taught basic Tajweed rules. The overall goal is to improve the quality of recitation while working with the student on a regular basis.
Classes follow a regular schedule. Each student is allocated a time slot in the schedule. Registration for this program is open at the start of the school year around late August. Registrants then meet to create a schedule. The allocation of slots is mutually agreed upon by the participants. Although, personal preferences are accommodated, due to high volume of participation, it is not always possible to do so. If your schedule allows you flexibility, we expect and hope that you cooperate with folks whose doesn't.
