Where I can find the school calendar?
By clicking here or the school calendar link on the left side of this page.
What are school timings?
The school starts at 11:00 AM. The school typically begins with an assembly followed by the first period (Quran Studies), lunch, recess, second period (Islamic Studies), and Duhr prayers (2:00 PM). When Eastern Standard Time is in effect, the Duhr prayer will be in between the two periods (after the recess). Please note that Duhr prayer is part of the school curriculum and schedule. Therefore, we request that parents make every effort to pray Duhr with the congregation before leaving.
Why arriving on time is so important?
Yes. Although it goes without saying, but we cannot over-emphasize the importance of starting school on time. The school starts with an assembly of all students and teachers in the social hall. We expect all students to be present at this time. This helps establish good scheduling practice, gives teacher/students enough face-time, and facilitates timely lunch and prayer breaks. Please be cognizant of this and make every effort to be on time.
Where will I find information about school closings?
Scheduled school closings are listed on the school calendar. For emergency school closings (for example due to inclement weather), the information will be posted on the home page of this website and will be relayed to all parents via email and text by 9:00 AM that morning. Please make sure to check either of these sources before you leave for school.
What should I do if I have further questions?
