MCCGP Seeking Part-time Office and Facilities Manager
Muslim Community Center of Greater Pittsburgh (MCCGP) is seeking a part-time Office and Facilities Manager who will help run the community center in a prompt, organized and orderly fashion.

As our Office Manager, you will be responsible for:
You will be expected to maintain a 20 hours max per week work schedule including 3-4 days in the office (of which Fridays and two annual Eid days is a must) and presence on Sunday School days. You will report to the Executive Secretary of the Executive Council of MCCGP with whom you will meet quarterly to provide status report and review progress. You will also coordinate closely with Sunday School staff and other EC members as needed.

Responsibilities
As our Office Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the MCCGP office including answering emails/phones, checking emails/phone messages, responding to emails/phone calls, checking mailbox, and associated tasks
- Providing assistance with filing and paying bills, managing checks, pledges and online donation records and entering them into Quickbooks
- Processing zakat and sadaqa applications with input from the EC
- Managing membership activation/renewal, preparing membership voting and nomination lists and providing support in the annual Executive Council elections.
- Designing flyers for various events & activities; updating website and preparing and sending weekly e-newsletters and regular electronic communications
- Maintaining various event calendars, setting reminders and promptly communicating important events to EC and Imams (e.g social hall, fundraiser and Imam calendars)
- Interacting with MCCGP vendors, visitors and guests and promptly tending to their matters
- Mailing/Emailing tax letters
- Performing a walkthrough of the building at the start of every workday and after Sunday School; checking surveillance footage
- Scheduling, overseeing and logging maintenance activities and inspections
- Overseeing cleaning generally and right after facility rentals; keeping various sections of the building organized
- Managing the access keys for members
- Ordering cleaning and center supplies as needed
- Providing support during MCCGP educational and fundraising events
- Assisting with Ramadan and Eids preparation
- Assisting with Sunday School registration, lunches and other events
- Managing and assisting with Funeral and Burial Operations

Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and social skills
- Strong command of spoken and written English
- Command of various computer applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Google apps, Digital design apps for flyers and websites
- Preference will be given to applicants with creative writing skills
- Commitment to excellence
- Willingness to learn, adapt and grow in the role of the office and facilities manager
