Al-Khwarizmi Creative Math Program: A weekly program for upper elementary and middle school students to develop creative problem solving skills by following well-known curricula designed by Art of Problem Solving. MCCGP follows recommendations from Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and The Fiqh Council of North America to commence the month of Ramadan and to decide two days of Eid - Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. MCCGP has a tradition of hosting various Ramadan related events, daily Taraweeh prayers after Isha, daily Iftar for all, weekend community iftar, interfaith event, short educational speeches and more. MCCGP also arranges for collection and disbursement of Zakat-ul-Fitr towards the end of Ramadan.
